The night itself was really good and a lot of fun but drink prices were way too much in my opinion otherwise it would be 5 Visited The King's Head Member's Club on 2019-02-15

The venue was authentic (don’t be put off by the seedy run down exterior) and the performances were amazing. Such a talented set of artists and brilliant master of ceremonies, loved the comedic element too. Down sides are the drinks are way too expensive, would have spent more had they been more reasonable and it was disappointing that given that it’s called ‘Gin house’ there were no nice glasses for the Gin and that there wasn’t a nice display to choose from. Also the delays in waiting for the acts to begin is an issue as no bars on other floors and maybe some background music whilst waiting would be good. Overall a fab night out and excellent entertainment, would definitely return Visited The King's Head Member's Club on 2019-02-15

Quirky venue, which will surprise you from the inside out. The entertainment though, was the highlight of the night and performed by seriously good artists. Absolutely delightful! Visited The King's Head Member's Club on 2019-02-15

Gin House Burlesque had the potential to be good (great setting, performers etc) but was put together really badly. Apart from the show on the top floor (5minutes) we couldn’t actually see any burlesque performances as in the opening/closing and main burlesque show our view was completely blocked by other people. Given the layout and number of people there, they really need to have the performers on a stage rather than the floor. Also drinks were very expensive - £24 for two G&Ts Visited The King's Head Member's Club on 2019-02-15

Performances were good. However for most of the time you’re gonna be standing around waiting for things to happen. You’re going to be restricted to stay on ground floor which is very warm and crowded. If you even dare to go to let’s say the basement, even for the loo, you’d be told off by the staff. Was looking forward to this night so much and got really disappointed by the organisation. The bar was extremely slow, some of the staff didn’t have any barmen experience or notion what was where (got gin with soda instead of tonic). The rest didn’t know the cocktails from the menu, although there were only 5 or 6 in total. The basement was freezing and most of the time we stayed waiting for the performers to come down, without anyone announcing what was going on.. the rooms were completely packed, as we were seating on the back rows of the rooms the view was highly obstructed. All in all, the show was not with the money, nor was the gin with soda.. Visited The King's Head Member's Club on 2019-02-15
